They collaborate in real time through telephone, video conference and Google Hangouts, staff augmentation agreement and traveling to onsite meetings when required. It's been a fascinating experience for me to research areas and weigh options for expansion, and I hope to share some of my takeaways here, both to assist anyone else assessing similar growth and/or to provide more insight on nearshore support. Since that time I've seen it grow to over 180 - and a significant reason behind this growth has been our ability to provide nearshore support to our clients all over North America, as a result of our present nearshore office in El Salvador. The dream was starting to become a reality. What a great way to showcase Antit and Salvadoran capabilities! They needed a mobile app for the Winter Olympic Games. It really meant changing the lives of 25 families in El Salvador. Especially, when the goal was to provide services to US customers. If they could convince a customer to believe in them, they were going to change the landscape of quality employment in El Salvador. This brought credibility to the organization and it was rewarded by other subcontracts that triggered growth. After many days and nights of hard work, Antit delivered on time an exceptional app that passed all the quality controls set by the customer. Two passionate friends who committed to driving change in El Salvador decided to venture into the software development world. After knocking on many doors and learning along the way what customers wanted, they got a call from a software company in the US that wanted to subcontract them.
Antit pays 5 times the minimum wage as a starting salary. Out of those 15 are Fortune 500 companies. Today, after 7 years in operations, Antit has more than 60 customer relationships. 5% annual attrition and 2 development centers, and 15 commercial offices.
